WSI/Lifeguarding - 102520

Provides entry-level participants the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies and to provide care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illnesses until EMS personnel take over.
Prerequisites:
 Must be 15 years or older
 Swim 300 yards continuously
 Tread water for 2 minutes using only the legs
 Complete a timed event within 1 minute 40 seconds (timed brick retrieval)
 Exit the water without using a ladder or steps
This course will be taught “blended learning” style which will include online course work, in-class lectures, in-class activities, in-class practical skills and application
Each participant must complete both the online and in-person skill portions to be eligible to sit for final written exams and skill sessions.

Adult CPR AED FIrst Aid - 102522

This course will help you feel confident that you could help a neighbor or family member in an emergency. This course will cover community level adult, child and infant CPR/AED and First Aid. This is a "Blended Learning" class which means there are two portions that must be completed. First, we will send you a link to complete an online learning portion through the American Red Cross website. Expect the email with this information approximately 1 week prior to class. If you do not received this email please call 206-842-2302 for help. The online portion must be completed and a certification of completion given to the instructor on the class date. If you do not provide this completion certificate you cannot sit for the course and will not be refunded the class fee.
