Spend time in conversation, sharing ideas and being creative making one-of-kind glass projects...there's plenty of time for homework and chores ans social media afterward. Fused Glass Name Plates - 520416

Come play the name game and explore the beautiful world of fused art glass while making your own name plate or house numbers! Each adult/youth team will make 1 or 2 name plates using semi pre-cut glass elements. No experience necessary. Includes firing, all tools, and basic materials (Dichroic glass embellishments extra) . Ages 12-17 Learn to fuse, cut, bend, and shape metal. This intensive introduction to stick welding, also known as arc welding, and oxy-acetylene torch cutting is taught by a technical pro. Come to the Eagledale Art Studio one day a week an spend some time Making! Have you seen a pot with eyes? We certainly have in our wheel throwing lesson! Centering a piece of clay on the wheel can be challenging, so we keep it fun. Learn how to hand build with slabs and coils and pinch pots to add sculptural elements to your creations. Finally, bring it all together with lessons on how to glaze and decorate your wares! For safety, keep long hair back and for the best traction on the wheel wear comfortable sports shoes.
