The best way to learn to draw is to fill a sketchbook with drawings of your favorite subjects. In this class we will practice basic drawing techniques by sketching everyday objects. We will talk about different types of journals, supplies and materials. Our goal will be to improve drawing ability and to create a journal or sketchbook that expresses your unique individuality. One week will be a field trip off site. Materials are not included in the class fee.

We understand Fall can get busy. Sports, concerts, holiday preparations, travel and Island guests can take time away from your every day routine and class schedule. This 8-week Flex Workshop activity is a courtesy for currently enrolled Eagledale pottery studio students. It allows for 8 flexible workshop visits to any regularly scheduled workshop of any instructor during the quarter.

As a Park District teaching studio, flex workshop time is for current students to continue creating and working on on-going projects with studio staff on hand for guidance and supervision. Clay is not included in the workshop fee.
